Artist Statement

Exploring the photography and painting media, I am captivated by the seen, submerged in in-depth layers with a particular immersive perspective. My love of moving images dates from my early childhood, my first painting and art lessons, my academic studies in fine arts/painting and video, culture, civilisations, and religion later in Bulgaria, France, and the United Kingdom, and my ongoing interest in psychology here and now. I travelled a lot and moved home many times, and my paintings from that time have always been part of my identity search. I’ve made a sense of belonging and gone somewhere I find myself again.
One’s narrative writes itself if it’s relevant to pursuing a specific road. I admire the power of creativity to connect us and interpret our human soul, concerns, and man-made surroundings. Because once perceived and seen, things raised to the view entered powerfully everyday life and marked a person’s life.
My works are shown in themed exhibitions and on artist websites.
