Resume

Mason Deane (they/them) is a queer artist hailing from Ohio, where they are currently studying fine arts at the University of Cincinnati’s DAAP Program.

They enjoy working with a variety of mediums, but they consistently find themselves behind the camera or covered in clay. Mason allows the materials, conversations, feelings, and ideas to come together throughout the process to create their final works; Allowing the work and the ideas behind it to exist in its rawest form.

Mason uses their practice to explore and process. Taking inspiration from their own life, much of their work explores the complexities of loss, love, life, and pain through a queer perspective, which is often overlooked. They hope to share their views on relationships and highlight the impact that we have on one another.
