My practice concerns attuning to rebellious poetics and liberatory negotiations in the discarded and the everyday. My work is often improvisatory and proximately situationist, with particular interest in the improper, the de-professional, the inexact and non-disciplinary slips in interrogations of politics, technics and aesthetics. I see my practice as a way of moving in sites of foreclosure and of finding impressions of theories and practices of utopia and radical exteriority in dismissible spaces and in improper time. I’m interested in working with tactics and gestures to formulate speculative and tactile responses to space, sound and the built environment. My work often takes the form of interventions, minoritarian gestures, performances, drawings, wheat pasted paintings, and time-based experiments. I’m particularly interested in frictions and resistance of slowly drawn tempos and unobvious publics. My recent investigations concern quietness, exhaustion, dense time and the accumulative transformation of slow militancies.
