Anne-christine (AC) is an award-winning independent journalist, feminist, longtime human rights community activist, and author of four books. She works as a professional editor and editorial consultant. She recently completed a new romantic comedy novel and is developing a nonfiction book based on her current global reporting. As a journalist, she covers pro-democracy issues for progressive outlets and is reporting a 10-country comparative series on resistance to authoritarianism on Substack at https://resistingproject2025.substack.com. In 2023, she also founded a nonpartisan, nonprofit initiative, GenDemocracy, and led a national educational campaign to alert Americans about Project 2025. She wears a dual hat as a creative artist and is planning the summer 2026 launch of Le Lapin Bleu Cabinet, a specialty artisan store with hand-crafted apparel featuring a 19th century Victorian noir aesthetic.
