Artist statement

Generally I work as animated film director, but simultaneously conduct workshops, make book illustrations, and also I’m engaged in painting and make the graphics. As an artist I have participated in solo and collaborative exhibitions.
I like to discover something new and reflect it in my art works. I take to myself the role of the researcher when I make my art pieces.
I’m happy when my works help to come through another world and discover the other vision. And I believe that it is not the creator who sculpts a stone and turns it into a sculpture, and sculpting makes the creator.

Motivation

Not so long time ago I’ve discovered to myself a great opportunity for working and share my experience with other artists during the art residencies.
For me it’s a great reason to open my mind and artistic view and also a chance to concentrate on my project away from everyday routine.
I’m looking for the chance to meet new people and collaborate with them it’s the thing that is very important for me because sometimes it’s fantastic to find like-minded and interesting people.
I’ve never been in Serbia but dreamed to come and to see it with my own eyes. I’m sure it will be a great inspiration for me and invoke new ideas and art projects.
