Belgrade Art Studio is delighted to welcome Katayoon Forouhesh, a multimedia artist from Iran, currently residing in the United Kingdom.

She obtained her B.A. in Print Media at the University of Art in Tehran, Iran, and continued her studies by pursuing M.A. in Graphic Moving Image at the University of the Arts London, UK.

Katayoon primarily works with photography and video. She is trying to reinterpret the sociopolitical problems, and restrictions through her personal experience and views. She tries to create an engaging situation for common experience with audience.
Art played important role for her as a mean to challenge limitations and to criticize social problems.
