Belgrade Art Studio is delighted to welcome John – Patrick Ayson, an artist, writer and PhD researcher at State University of New York – University @ Buffalo.

During his residency at Belgrade Art Studio, he will finalize ACCIDENTS a series of seven accidental, non-edited, non-curated moving still images, shot & produced with his iPhone 6s Plus within the span of the last 2 years — & draft an essay titled THE PASTS < PRESENTS > & FUTURES OF THE MATERIAL a critical review & analysis of four artworks in four major biennales ( RIBOCA 1, Biennale de l’Image Mouvement 2018, the 58th Venice Biennale & the 2019 Whitney Biennial ).
