Do you choose your art form, or does the form choose you?
Both in big projects, but when experimenting it’s always art form choosing me

From daily experiences, social and political events and how it affects me
Favorite material, you guessed it, is glass.
To what extent has your Egyptian background and all the restrictions influenced your art?
It played a huge part, since i see my work as a response and a way to relieve the pressure of events around me.
What do you hope the viewer gets from your work?
Relate, to see a reflection of themselves in it and hopefully to be partially relieved for a at least a split second as well from this shared experience
How has your everyday life as an artist changed during pandemics?
I became more productive, put myselt in this little cocoon of mine and just did art.
How do you feel about being involved in an online residency program? How important is it to stay connected with the international art community?
Very important; as much as we want to stick to our art and do nothing more. community and art connections are how to survive as artists in general. And international art community; we need it more since we lack tun of it
