Belgrade Art Studio is happy to present an artist Alex Grilanc for the January-April 2018 residency in Belgrade.

He comes from Sydney, Australia. From 2015-2017 he was Artist in residence at the Orchard gallery in Redfern where he also had studio space.

His artistic practice includes drawing and painting often using spray paint to complete large scale murals. A skill he has had the opportunity to use on domestic and international travels. He has been involved in a number of group exhibitions.

He has used aerosol paint as a medium since 2006 and implemented a number of private and public commissions, currently working with SAMA (street art murals Australia) as one of their artists. He also has gained employment as a sign writer for various businesses. He currently contributes illustrations and cartoons to the South Sydney Herald.
