Belgrade Art Studio is delighted to welcome Jack Giaour, a writer from USA.

He hold MA from University of Massachusetts, Amherst – Amherst.
Also, he attended Quest Writers Conference, Quest University, Squamish, BC, Utah Shakespeare Festival, Southern Utah University, Cedar Rapids, UT.

As a queer, trans* man, he is often silenced in daily life. Poetry is a way for him to reclaim his voice, and to speak beyond the limits of speech, both for himself and for others like him who have been silenced as well.

Currently, he is working to develop an experimental queer poetics, which examines the intersection between sexuality and cultural identity, and questions where in that intersection is there space for queer and trans* sexualities
