Belgrade Art Studio is delighted to welcome an artist and illustrator Gus Val Augusto Bonilla Valdés for the May-June residency in Belgrade.

Gus Val comes from Puebla, Mexico where he completed his PhD in arts . He designed many book covers and illustrated many editions for “Alcorce”, a publishing house specialized in poetry as well as French magazine called “Cabaret” .

As a winner of French government  arts’ scholarship, Gus Val lived and worked in France as well as the United Kingdom and Canada. He has been active as an artist in Mexico and worldwide.
