Belgrade Art Studio is delighted to welcome a poet and performer from Sweden, Linnéa Deurell.

She works across disciplines (poetry/literature, script writing and video art/recordings). At the moment she works on a project called AUTOPSY, which is a collection of poems divided into five chapters focusing on her trauma (but also femininity/feminism, mental illness and relationships).

Her style – Everything comes from her heart/mind. Her true inspiration is women – writers and artists who she is strongly influenced by – such as Sylvia Plath, Virginia Woolf, Karin Boye, Ingeborg Bachmann, Mela Hartwig, Susan Sontag, Patti Smith, Louise Bourgeois, Tracey Emin, Barbara Kruger, Cindy Sherman, Georgia O’Keeffe, Lana del Rey and Nico (Christa Päffgen) …
