SYNOPSIS WORKS STAND BY 2022
By Serena Rossi
My installation represents how we find ourselves after the years of pandemic, to be rebuilt like the bricks held close by the wool thread. Rubble then. destroyed but elegant. Messy but beautiful. And the thread for the recovery. Pastel colors refer to an idea of familiarity and fragility together. The matter is a refractory stone, therefore inert to the heat and seen the times it seemed to me suitable, and light as the consistency of the clouds, ephemeral, sfldabile. Stand by of being. Destroyed to be rebuilt together. New beings present in their new fragile essence. With new knowledge acquired. And the yarn to start over and rebuild. Reconnect.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The comparison but above all the knowledge of the other Artists has further widened the objectives for example with those who make videos I took ideas and the desire to deepen.
Also I found a community suitable to design and I hope to complete a choral work I orchestrated as a video that will have as a track the video Spaces that I produced in these weeks inspired by the theme Stand By.
Then I produced a new installation thanks to industrial recovery materials, represents how I feel after the pandemic and these two years of restrictions even physical and mandatory, Title Stand by, the wool thread represents the conjunction of the various pieces held together thinly and gives the boot, the start.

ITALIA I MULTIMEDIA ARTIST
ABOUT SERENA ROSSI ARTIST
She makes art as an impelling need for communication beyond verbal or physical contact.
The message of art sublimates the real and brings a new message, another, that she often does not know before.
She uses different media including mainly painting and collage, installation, photography, digital art and video.
The themes that most fascinate her are those related to the contemporary world, of speed and fragility, often related to the urban world. Also study animals and plants tying their discomfort to growth in unsuitable or polluted environment.

When I am asked I also prepare large environmental installations with found materials, in the next exhibition I will bring my outdoor living room binding to the concept of artistic nomadism, We Artists are fed into our art making by moving so conceptually I don’t have a fixed home but I carry it around for exhibitions and exhibitions.
An important feature of my artistic practice is that even on canvas or paper I almost never use materials employed in the fine arts but nets under sink or kitchen, commercial breakfast cartons, industrial acrylic sprays, sheets of books recovered at street markets, gift wrapping paper or chocolates.
In fact, I find that the practice of trade economy is healthy for the whole planet and I fully support

I worked with you more on listening because of my difficulty in expressing my ideas in English.

I find the international environment stimulating for creative work, I also like to travel physically and find new smells and new flavors, but in this historical period is more difficult than at other times and the online helps us.
In Baxx, the curator, I found seriousness and listening that is not easy to find in everyone.

In the future I plan to have two important gallery owners visit my studio so I am opening up to, hopefully, new and profitable horizons. My goal is to be able to live only of my artistic production, I’m not interested in making a lot or becoming a well-known name on the international art scene, I just need to be able to make art freely and independently of course traveling and visiting the world as much as possible.
